Cheryl Carpio, Registered Dietitian (RD), Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CD-N) and Nutrition Consultant in Long Island, New York is a successful dietitian in private practice and has more than 10 years of experience in nutrition counseling. Cheryl is on staff at Winthrop University Hospital Nutrition Department, and an out-patient dialysis center with patients that have kidney disease. Cheryl offers personal nutritional counseling to people with food-related illnesses, and those interested in health promotion and disease prevention. Cheryl has an undergraduate degree from Queens College and completed her Dietetic Internship at Nassau County Medical Center through New York Institute of Technology.  

Cheryl is a member of the American Dietetic Association; New York State Dietetic Association; Entrepreneur Nutritionists Practice Group, Long Island Dietetic Association; Council on Renal Nutrition of Greater New York; Council on Renal Nutrition of  Long Island; and various ADA Practice Groups. 

Cheryl is currently on the Executive Board as an Education Chair on the Council on Renal Nutrition of Greater New York. Cheryl is committed to improving the health of her clients through positive lifestyle changes, and healthier eating habits with continued support and guidance.
